Educated interaction designer but the latest two years I have been dedicated to web design and developing. I like: colours (especially purple), cities, temples, warm days, dark nights, electronic music, walking long distances, all forms of art and design, Apple products, chocolate, tea, coffe with milk, gin and tonic... with lime.

Last week these business cards were finished in print. I gave them a nice, new icon to use to lighten up their backside ;) "UngOmsorg" is a health-care company, hiring young people to visit and entertain the home of the elderly. View image
Wacom, creator of the best pen tablets for computers, of which I own a nice A6 one to draw my stuff with, has got a new logotype since a couple of months (or years?) back.
My personal opinion is that my 7 yr old brother can draw a better one in Illustrator, and is an INSULT to us graphical designers. Primitive gradients and lighting and shadows from the wrong sides.
Today I found a logotype for open-source VPN client Hamachii, which logo is almost prettier than Wacom's.
Where did the fameous laughing cartoons go? This is probably illegal and copyright infringement, but I tell you all that it was made by Conceptual arist Kjartan Nilsen © 1999-2006 and I've uploaded to my site for now.

Eniro.se offers a free MP3 download if you update your new profile on it's white pages "Personsök".
If I've downloaded any of those crappy pop tracks illegally, I would be sued for around $2000 per track. So I wonder if I can choose to accept $2000 instead for the download?

There seems to be several solutions to this, becuase there are several sources to the problem.

My problem got solved by checking the miscellaneous settings (Settings / Miscellaneous) in the admin panel. The "store uploads in this folder" field MUST have a value. In my case the default "wp-content/uploads"
Found on Internet Explorer 8's home page:
"Now you can quickly display websites that were designed for older browsers. Simply press the new Compatibility View button if you see display problems on a website like misaligned text, images, or text boxes. It's located next to the Refresh button on the Address Bar." Link to this article
So... if a site is, what Microsoft calls "not up-to-date", you can switch back to Explorer 7's rendering engine. You can also keep a list of which sites that should always open as IE7 instead. What does this say about how good IE8 is at rendering modern web sites?
Really now; all versions of Internet Explorer should have a Compatibility button that automatically opens Firefox instead.
