Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old.
Educated interaction designer but the latest two years I have been dedicated to web design and developing. I like: colours (especially purple), cities, temples, warm days, dark nights, electronic music, walking long distances, all forms of art and design, Apple products, chocolate, tea, coffe with milk, gin and tonic... with lime.

One of my favourite internet animators, David Firth, has made a short animation again that I want to share with you. It's strange, as usual, and apparently he didn't have much time to make it (he explains on his website that he moved house), but it's still Firth-ish.
The following movie shows to all of you western people how to eat sushi and how to behave at a sushi parlor in Japan! You'll need to rewind a couple of times, because you are sure to miss out on the phrases. My tip is to buy a phrase book too ;)
By the way, did you know that Japanese people think that we are strange when pouring soy sauce on the rice? I wonder who came up with that idea when it, apparently, isn't the oridinal....
It costs European taxpayers approximately 200 million euros a year to move the Parliament between Brussels/Belgium and Strasbourg/France. If you want to make a vote against this decision and keep the European Parliament in Brussels, sign the petition on http://www.oneseat.eu
I was bored today from writing job applications that I decided to change those ugly colors on this site. I thought that CMYK was cool, but the colors are so .... 90s? so i changed to my favourite colors. The portfolio will get a facelift too, but not now, 'cause I seem to have lost the original layout files so I have to redo it somtime. Later.
Now Apple has done something right again; don't you just hate it when you've lost a file you were most certain to have saved in a certain folder, but can't remember when? A new program called Time Machine helps you find it again, in a cool space-travelling animation! Click the image below for a demonstration.
Apparently, Mac OS X will automatically save all file states and their positions on a server or harddrive.
The whole spring semester I lowered my karma significantly. Today I even had to return a gift i bought for a certain person because I won't see that person any more. A great song from the band Nirvana has a convenient title: I hate myself and want to die
