Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old.
Educated interaction designer but the latest two years I have been dedicated to web design and developing. I like: colours (especially purple), cities, temples, warm days, dark nights, electronic music, walking long distances, all forms of art and design, Apple products, chocolate, tea, coffe with milk, gin and tonic... with lime.

"Get this new TV set and you'll feel like your watching a movie at the cinema!"
No, sorry, I don't get that feeling. I only get the feeling of a much smaller picture for the same price as a "normal" television set. A 28" normal television (4:3) is much higher than a 28" widescreen (16:9) TV (naturally). Why do people think these TVs are so cool? Because you see more? At the cinema you do, but I've never felt the loss when watching the same movie on a normal TV. The worst part is when producers use this effect on TV programs, commersials and music videos - you don't get a bigger picture, what you get is a normal clip which they have cut off the top and bottom to make it look cooler, you actually get less! I'm not really sure if widescreen really gives a more pleasurable experience than a normal one. I just want mine very big and very flat.
I just bought a new (used) Sony Trinitron TV (no, not very big, and not very flat either). The funny thing about this TV (that matches my Playstation 2) is that it automatically sets itself in widescreen mode. Heck, it's just 29", so it squeezes the picture to an irritatingly small picture - and it forgets everytime to keep the normal setting when I turn it on agagin. Why, oh, why would I want to set a normal TV to widescreen mode, when a widescreen movie puts the black bars on there anyway?
Is there a new scientifical study that our human eyes catch more data horisontally than vertically? Maybe it's all the TV viewing the past 20 years that made us humans aquire a widescreen vision, not suited for nature anymore, but for all these screens we are watching every day. I've always thought that we humans some day will have the same look like those grey-skinned, big-black-eyed, skinny aliens we are afraid of today.
Do you remember the computers which you navigated by typing hard-to-remember white commands on black background to be able to run Tunnels of Armageddon, Scorched Earth, Prince of Persia, Nibbles and Gorillas? Perhaps you remember a graphical interface with white windows, blue menu bars, ugly icons and boring white background? To reach the command text thingy you either "quit windows" or double-clicked this icon.
MS DOS, what a memory. What a pain in the a** it really was. And boring. I never understood it. You had to use it to b able to play the games, though. But I never noticed until now when I stumbled upon this icon on the internet how funny this logo is. At least, how funny Microsoft tried to make it. Red goes with violet, violet goes with yellow, yellow is a tone of red... kind of, so all these colors CAN go togehter? Hmm... Anyway, this is interaction design - to make something completely boring and make it look funny. No, this is how Microsoft tried to solve things back in the 80s. There isn't much more to say about this, is there?
Except that it looks like it says: MS DOG...

A couple of years ago, various dressup games were popular on the Internet, bringing yet another girl thing for guys to do, except from wearing pink shirts (pink can be nice on guys yaknow).
So for the unofficial premiere of my English speaking blog, I'll present Steve Jobs dressup. Now you can see your favourite rich man (the CEO of Apple Computer - the iPod brand) in something else than his black turtleneck and blue jeans! (brought to us by joyoftech.com)
Dress'im'up!

Men denna kanske dyker upp:
EV-K100
7,9mm tjock (tunn), väger 60g, har en 1,3megapixelkamera om man bryr sig om det (det gör inte jag, jag har en undebar Canon Ixus 40 på 4MP), och 165Mb minne för grejer.
